I have used the Total Gym of various models for over 25 years and always found them to be an excellent home fitness machine. The reason this model does not rate five stars is due to a few flaws. Older models use to have a lock pin to secure the glide board to prevent movement when folding/unfolding the gym. While exercising, the safety pin securing the height frame can work itself loose if not checked regularly. It needs to be longer. Trying to get the optional 'extra large squat stand' is impossible and emails regarding this go unanswered. Besides these minor points, I still believe the Total Gym to be the best home gym available on the market and do not hesitate to recommend it, especially at the current price.
